mit references
Saw Iron Man last night, and Robert Downey Jr was surprisingly good in it. He and his best buddy character both had an MIT education, and I thought it'd be fun to rate the references:
−100: graduated summa cum laude at 17
BIG NO-NO. Movies always do this! MIT does not do summa/magma/whatever cum laudes. Sorry, there is no possible way to be "top of your class". Though, you can say that they did exceedingly well by getting letters in every class they took -- those letters are written by the professors to the top 1 or 2 students.
+1: Miss Potts mentions commencement in June
Yes.
+10000000: Stark and his best bud wear a brass rat
Caught a beaver on top and the dome on one of the sides, best bud wore it on left ring finger. Didn't catch if the beaver was up or down.
Any other movies with fun tidbits you remember? Maybe I should make a mini-site.
Edit: Wow, Google makes it super easy to do all sorts of things. Here's the mini-site.
taiwan 2008 pictures
90+ pictures to prove how much food we ingested in Taiwan.

If you know me, I have pictures with actual people in them too ... just ask for the seekret code.
assorted
I'm back from Taiwan, photos to come soon. We ate a ridiculously huge amount of food there.
A small list:
salty dou jiang, sweet dou jian, meat buns, red bean ice, mango ice, peanut ice, peanut dou hua, guava, wax apples, xiao long bao, noodles, more noodles, beef noodle soup, passion fruit tea, milk tea, green tea ...

S and I are working on a new project in our personal time, and I have a favor to ask of lawyers or people with lawyer/law firm friends:
If you use e-discovery software, can you fill out this short survey? Thanks a bunch!

And finally, late to the game: here's the conclusion to a heartwarming tale of a boy and his wii fit. If you look at week 1-7, they make for pretty entertaining reading as well. Good job!
